From the morning of October 18th through noon on October 20th the Opportunity Foundation Camp 5 was conducted with financial support from a Community Grant from VFW National Headquarters and VFW Post 10217 Charity Fund. Children that have been abused reside there and children from surrounding areas come to receive training from members of the staff and soldiers from the Royal Thai Army. The objectives of fostering trust, developing skills and good citizenship are woven into the teaching process along with fun too. Members of the post were there for the opening ceremony and visited during the remainder of the camp.
