On May 27th, 2019, members of Post 10217 and their spouses place flags on the grave plaques for 17 departed comrades whose ashes are placed there. Commander Phil Jones conducted a ceremony of rememberance. JVC Dave Borchers read General Logan's "General Order No. 11 dated May 5, 1868" the first Memorial Day directive. Chaplain Chapman offered a prayer. An Honor Salute was rendered and Taps were also played.

After the ceremony the group enjoyed lunch together, sharing this time together with good food and conversation.
