On the morning of January 8, 2019, Special Forces Association Chapter 3 and the Thai Police School 3 held a memorial service for SSG Wallace D. Gumb, who was fatally injured while trying to disarm an unexploded grenade while training Thai Police Students in on 6 January 1968. Our Post presented a wreath and members and their spouses attended the ceremony hosted by the school and COL Redmon, Special Forces Association Chapter 3. James Williams, a member of our post was SSG Gumb's supervisor at the time of the accident and was able to attend the ceremony as well. Thanks to all who provided photographs for this page.
