Larry Boudreaux hailed from Texas, and I think he told me once he was from Padre Island. He spent 20 + years in the army and navy, and later sailed for MSC in the Merchant Marine. He was known to be a very sharp marine engineer, and did not abide much nonsense. He lived a quiet life in a small village near Nong Ki in Buri Ram Province, with his wife Jan, and the various dogs he kept around. Below are some pictures taken at his funeral on 6 February 2014. Many of his local friends came to the funeral, including farangs of all types and Thai folks too.
