On Friday, September 4th, 2015, members of VFW Post 10217 attended a Special Event and Ceremony at the JhaDam Memorial, on the Royal Thai Army Base, Korat, Thailand. The event and ceremony was to dedicate a marble plaque in honor of Thai Military Veterans. There were 5 personnel from Post 10217 present for the event. They were: VFW District 5 Commander Fred Berg, VFW Post 10217 Commander Ed Sostack, VFW Post 10217 Chaplain Ray Mendigorin, VFW Post 10217 Member Bill Chapman, and VFW Post 10217 Thai Liaison Col.
