Comrade Walt and Am Hollon's home in Korat
On Tuesday, July 4th the Post held it's annual Independence Day Celebration. This year there was a change of pace and location for the event. Walt and Am Hollon, graciously, offered to hold the event at their home. It turned out to be a wonderful event and we wish to thank Walt and Am for their hospitality. As you can see from the pictures below, Walt and Am went out of their way to make it a very festive occasion.

On Monday, July 4th, 2016 Post 10217, Korat held it's annual Independence Day Celebration and Picnic. It was, particularly, nice to see so many of the wives and family members of our Comrades attend the picnic. Our, informal, wives club has continued to grow and they are an integral part of our Post..

On July 4th 2013 members of our post gathered with our friends from all countries to celebrate our Nation's Independence Day. There were Thais (of course), Engilshmen, a Norwegian Viking, a Dutchman, a German, and maybe some other types of farangs? We had plenty of good food and drink, and the slight rainfall did not dampen our party at all. We distributed Buddy Poppies and charged a small fee for the food. Beer was sold by the restaurant business there at the park. Thanks to the donations from some of our members, the Post made some profit for the day, as well as adding to the Post Relief Fund with the Buddy Poppy donations.
Below are some pix taken there that day.
